I have been to other Burger Tex's but the location on Guadalupe seems to be exceptional compared to others. The burgers are cooked to order and their buns are what really makes the burgers so good. It's a build your own burger joint which I prefer, but I wish that they had more toppings available.
The restaurant is located on Guadalupe St. North of campus North of 25th St. One of my favorite parts of eating burgers at Burger Tex is the French fries. The fries at Burger Tex are fried perfectly and seasoned well with some seasoning salt. However, on our last trip our fries came without seasoning salt which was a let down. I appreciate the prices and the quality of ingredients. Burger Tex does offer a choice of temperatures on their burgers which is nice especially since they can actually deliver the burgers at the right temperature. It seems like most burger joints offer a temperature but most can't deliver that. The shakes aren't that great and I haven't tried the Bulkogi Burger but I have heard that they are very good. The decor is really lame and borderline dirty but that seems to be a good quality in burger joints for some reason. Don't go to Burger Tex if your looking for visual entertainment or fun for the kids because it certainly isn't either. I do recommend visiting Burger Tex if your in the campus area and want a good burger for a reasonable price.
