 A few words of advise about Tex-Mex cuisine. If you have ever had really good Tex-Mex food here in Austin or San Antonio, then don't try it any where else in the world, especially not in Heidelberg Germany. All of the culinary experience in the world isn't enough to get the same ingredients that are available to us here in Texas. Also, don't buy into gourmet Tex-Mex or go to any restaurant that claims to be such because you will be much happier with the real thing. Like any other good cuisine, Tex-Mex is depedent on simplicity, good cooking methods, and quality ingredients.
